5 Device Management
5.5 Creating additional device lists
The default device list is named “device list“. This name can be changed. In
addition further device lists can be created and their names can freely be
chosen.

Using several device lists has the advantage that devices can be grouped
together or assigned to machine lines.
Each device list is displayed in a separate window. The following example
shows two device lists named „Oven“ and „Boiler“.
5.6 Connection via PROXY server
Connecting a LOGOSCREEN nt device via Internet means that a PROXY
server has to be used. Without PROXY server it is only possible to use a VPN
connection or a connection within an Intranet.
When you add a new device to a device list, it is best to use the Assistant for
setting devices and to choose the corresponding connection presetting. Thus
in the TCP/IP port settings window you will find additional input fields for
PROXY server.
