6 Time Settings
Time
synchronization The setting for when the device time will be synchronized to the PC time. This
is used to eliminate differences between the PC and the device.
Cyclic
check This defines a check for whether the attached device is still connected to the
PC. If a device is not accessible, then an error message is entered in Audit Trail
Manager.
This function is intended to reveal any possible connection error before the
data read-out takes place.

It is only possible for devices that support time synchronization.

Synchronization can only be performed during operating periods.
Setting that determines whether and how the start date/
time is calculated

The check can only be made during the operating period
(when the operating period is active).
Setting for how frequently the connection should be
checked.
