About Lab Views
Lab Views provide real-time status to allow you to monitor and manage your
entire laboratory or create a custom layout of multiple test systems. Lab
layouts can include multiple tabs to organize tests by project.
Lab Views can include layout and table tabs that show the real-time status of
every test in your lab and to indicate which tests require your attention and
which test system is idle. The test system objects in the layout tab and table
display cells will turn green, red, or yellow to indicate the test status of Run,
Stopped, or Hold.
Lab Views
A unique Lab View can be created for each lab. The Lab View editing tools
allow you to create a schematic virtual representation of your lab based on
how it is actually laid out. This view updates in real-time to indicate the
status of each test system in the lab. You can also add a table tab that lists
signal values and other status for each system in your lab.
“My Lab” Views
Additionally, users can create their own Lab Views to arrange specific test
systems into one view. For example, operators responsible for multiple test
systems, even spanning multiple labs, can arrange one view to see the status
of all of these tests at once.
