5- If the baffle does not slide all the way in place, use a rubber or plastic mallet to gently tap it into the muffler. DO NOT attempt to
drive the baffle in place, but rather, use gentle taps to position it. Once the baffle is all the way in, the bolts should be tightened
in a cross pattern until snug and then torque them to 55-60 in-lbs.
6- After riding the motorcycle for 40-50 miles, recheck the torque on the eight screws that hold the baffles in place.
