6. Trouble Shooting

Please read the user manual carefully before using the DVD p layer. If you have any trouble
using this player, try to solve the pro blems by the suggestions mentioned below. If you can
not remove the trouble after using all the suggestions, please conta ct the compa ny or the
technical service center autho rized by us. For the sake of you r safety, plea se do not open the
cover and r epair the pla yer by yourself, if that, it may cause electric shock.

NO PICTUR E, SOUND AND INDICATION
* Ensure that the power switc h is on.
* Ensure that the power cord is not damaged or the fuse is no t blown.
* Ensure that the power plug is connected to the inlet tightly.

NO SOUND BUT HAVE PICTURE
* Ensure that the player s aud io output ha s a good connection with amplifier.
* Ch eck whether the audio co nnector is damaged.
* Ch eck whether you h ave turned d own th e volume.
* Ensure that you have set th e right AUDIO setup of the player.
* Ensure that the audio is not muted.

NO PICTUR E BUT HAVE SOUND
* Ensure that the player s vid eo output has a good con nectio n with monitor s vid eo inp ut.
* Ensure that you have turned your TV to t he AV input channel conn ecting to you r play er.
* Ch eck whether the video co nnector is da mage d.
* Ensure that you have set th e right VIDEO settings of the player.

BLACK AND WHITE PICTURE OR SCREEN ROLLING
* Ensure that you have set th e right TV SYSTEM (e.g. PAL, N TSC) setting.

FLAWS OF PICTURE OR SOUND
* Ch eck whether the setting of AUDIO is right.
* Ch eck whether the disc is s cratch ed or stained.
* Ch eck whether the AV connector a nd the outpu t term inal is stained.
* Ch eck whether there is con densa tion inside th e Lens. If so, leave the player off for an hour

or so, then try a gain.

* Ch eck whether the in stallation an gle is less than 30.

DISPLAY NO DISC OR BAD DISC
* Ensure that you have put the disc in the unit.
* Ch eck whether the disc is p ut in th e reverse side.
* Ch eck whether the disc is d istorted.
* Ch eck whether the disc is s tained or scr atched badly.
* Ensure that the disc format is com patible to the playe r.
* Ensure that the temperature inside the car is not too high. If so, cool off until the amb ient

temperature re turns t o normal.

* Re place another disc to insert it in to the disc compar tment.

REM OTE CONTROL IS INSENSITIVE OR DOES NOT WORK
* Ch eck the batteries of remo te con trol an d make sure that th ey are powerful an d have

good conductivity.

* Direct the remo te con trol to the IR sensor of the player.
* Ch eck whether there are some obstacles between th e remote control and IR sensor.

SOM E FUNCTION BUT TONS DO NOT WORK
* Tu rn off the power, then turn on a gain.
* Re set the unit to zero, then turn on again .
* Re move the fro nt pan el from the u nit, then inst all it again and then turn on aga in.

THE RADIO DOES NOT WORK
* Ch eck whether the antenna cable is connected firmly. Or m anually tune for a s tation .
