Ford fiesta st short throw shifter

SHORT THROW SHIFTER

Remove plastic vacuum hose from rubber
adaptor on the top of valve cover (leave
rubber adaptor in place).

Remove the center console rear bolts.

Remove the shift knob.

Remove the trim panel by pulling it to the
rear of the car and up.

Disconnect the electrical connections to
the trim panel.

Remove the right cover panel completely.
6
Disconnect the power and the USB
connectors.

Remove the left cover panel completely.
8
Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Remove the shifter cover.

Remove the center console front bolts.

Remove the center console by pulling it
back and up.
12
Disconnect the shifter cable links.
MATERIALS REQUIRED
White lithium grease
TOOLS REQUIRED
M7 socket wrench
Phillips screw driver
M8 socket wrench
T30 Tox tool bit
Flat screw driver
Small flat screw driver
Needle nose pliers
Flat file
Small hammer
Wire cutters
