6. setting the Muffler: In the following couple of steps the installer needs to determine if any cutting is re-
quired. start by lifting the muffler up as if it were installed onto the axle piece to see how the muffler lines
up to the driver’s side 1 and passenger side 1 pipe (see the picture below). Determine how much tubing
needs to be cutt off of the drivers side 1 and passenger side 1 to make the muffler fit in the gap. (Note the
two extension pieces included in the package need to be installed for Tundra double cabs with the 8’ bed)
7. After marking the drivers side 1 and passenger side 1 tubes remove them and cutt them using a sawzall or
chop saw.
8. Install hanger A and hanger B into the grommet locations connected to the steel cross member. Then insert
the muffler into Axle piece and rest the other end of the muffler in hanger A and hanger B as seen in the
picture below. Loosely secure the joint between the muffler and the axle piece using a clamp.
