Important: It is illegal in all 50 states and Canada to remove the Diesel particulate Filter
REMOVAL OF STOCk EXHAUST SySTEM
In these steps you will remove the stock exhaust system.
1.Use a Sawzall and cut exhaust pipe
behind muffler.
2. To make removing the Hangers
an easier process it is recommend-
ed that you use a silicone spray
lubricant to spray each
of the rubber
hangers hold-
ing the stock
exhaust.
3. Remove tail pipe from rubber insulators to remove
tail pipe from muffler.
4. Using a 15mm socket to loosen and
remove flange in front of muffler,
also remove from rubber insulators
to completely remove muffler.
