f. Inspect again for steering shaft and steer-

ing U-joint clearance at the frame. If no con-

tact is made and the steering shaft has no

interference, proceed with step h.

g. If the steering shaft and/or steering U-joint

still has/have interference at the frame, re-

configure kit rack & pinion spacers to create

½” drop

h. Check for steering shaft clearance to frame

and band clamps, the dust boots and the

clamps may have to be repositioned or re-

moved. Torque the kit 5/8” bolt to 150 ft./lbs.

and the OE bolts to manufacturers specifica-

tions.

i. Repeat assembly on opposite side of vehi-

cle.

2. Install kit passenger side differential

bracket.

a. Slide kit passenger side differential

bracket into factory passenger side differen-

tial mount so that large tab with two holes on

bracket faces towards rear of vehicle.

b. Secure using OE bolt, do not tighten at this

time.

3.Install kit driver side differential bracket.

a. Slide kit driver side differential bracket

into factory driver side differential mount.

b. Secure using OE bolt, do not tighten at this

time.

4. Mount differential.

a. Position differential into kit brackets previ-

ously installed.
