After one of the three passwords is entered, the unit has a
programming time limit of roughly 1 minute. If no keys are
pressed for more than 1 minute, the unit will return to backup
mode of operation. If this happens, you must start programming
over. This time limit prevents you from accidentally leaving the
unit in the programming mode of operation.

All uses of the backup customer codes are recorded by the
interface card. When the POS4000 console is operational again and
the interface card is placed back in the normal POS4000 mode of
operation, backup code usage is reported to the console and
included in the audit reports.

These instructions should be used as a guideline. If the wash manufacturer you
purchased the system from provides more detailed wire and installation
instructions then please ignore the following information.
