Valve Common Interrupter

Step 2

Install and Wire S100

Black wire connects to the clock common.

Orange wire connects to one side of the 24 VAC going into the clock. Test each to find the one that

supplies power.

White wire connects to the field common.

Green wire connects to the zone (on the clock) that the sensor is wired across.

Red wire connects to the sensor and valve in the field.

Brown and Blue wires can be connected to a zone to bypass S100 based watering, if needed. Only

one zone per wire is allowed. These zones will operate solely based on the sprinkler timers

configuration, without any input from the S100.

In the example below, the blue wire from the S100 is connected to Zone 1 on the sprinkler timer.

As a result, Zone 1 will bypass sensor control and watering for Zone 1 will be based soley on the

sprinkler timers configuration.
