Using the headset
Note
Answering When Not in Another Call
In all cases, the active call will appear on the LCD screen showing call duration and
destination.
To answer a call using the handset:
1. Pick up the handset.
To answer a call using the hands-free speakerphone mode:
Do one of the following:
- Press .
- With the handset on-hook and the headset unconnected, press the Answer soft key.
- With the handset on-hook and the headset unconnected, tap the line key.
To answer a call using the headset:
Do one of the following:
- With the headset connected.
Press the Answer soft key.
- With the headset connected, tap the line key.
Answering When in Another Call
If you are during an active call, an incoming call arrives on the phone, do one of the
following:
- Press or the Answer soft key.
The incoming call is answered and the original call is placed on hold.
To end a call:
Do one of the following:
- If you are using the handset, press the End Call soft key, tap or hang up.
You can ignore incoming calls by pressing the Reject soft key or the Ign ore soft key. You
can also activate Do Not Disturb mode to reject all incoming calls on your phone. For

You can forward incoming calls to someone else by pressing the Forward soft key. For
more information, refer to
Call Forward on page 63 .
