Before adding engine coolant,
check the color of the coolant in
your vehicle.
Add Motorcraft Premium
Engine Coolant
(greenĆcolored), VCĆ4ĆA (U.S.)
or CXCĆ10 (Canada) or
Motorcraft Premium Gold
Engine Coolant
(yellowĆcolored), VCĆ7ĆA,
depending on the type of
coolant originally equipped in
your vehicle. If you are unsure
which type of coolant your vehicle
requires, check your coolant
reservoir or contact your local
dealer.
Do not add/mix an
orangeĆcolored, extended life
coolant such as Motorcraft
Speciality Orange Engine
Coolant, VCĆ2 (U.S.) or
CXCĆ209 (Canada), meeting
Ford specification
WSSĆM97B44ĆD with the
factoryĆfilled coolant. Mixing
Motorcraft Speciality Orange
Engine Coolant or any
orangeĆcolored extended life
product with your factoryĆfilled
coolant can result in degraded
corrosion protection.
