To Do
Add machines to a static
group
Click Add machines to group.
In the Add machines to group (p. 366) window, select the machines that you
need to add. The centralized backup plans of the group will be deployed to the
selected machines.
Move a machine to another
static group
Click Move to another group.
In the Move to group (p. 366) window, select the group to move the machine
to.
All the centralized backup plans of the group the machine was in will be
removed. The centralized backup plans of the group the machine is now a
member of will be deployed to the machine.
Remove a machine from the
current static group
Click Remove from group.
The centralized backup plans of the group will be removed from the machine
automatically.
Direct management
To Do
Create a backup plan on a
machine
Click Back up.
This operation is described in depth in Creating a backup plan (p. 54).
Recover data
Click Recover.
This operation is described in depth in Recovering data (p. 131).
Connect to a machine
directly
Click Connect directly.
Establishes a direct connection to the managed machine. Enables to administer
a managed machine and perform all the direct management (p. 435)
operations.

To Do
View detailed information
on a machine
Click Details.
In the Machine details (p. 366) window, examine information on the machine.
View log entries of a
machine
Click Log.
The Log (p. 385) view will display a list of the machine's log entries.
Update the license for a
machine's agent
Click Change license.
The reasons for changing a license (p. 331) include:

Switching from trial mode to full mode.

Upgrading from Acronis Backup to Acronis Backup Advanced
Update all information
related to the machine
Click Synchronize.
The management server will query the machine and update the database with
the most recent information. Along with synchronizing, the refresh operation
will be performed automatically in order to update the list of the machines.
