Caring for Your microTALK

®

Radio

Your microTALK

®

radio will give you years of trouble-free

service if cared for properly. Here are a few suggestions:
• Handle the radio gently.
• Keep it away from dust.
• Never put the radio in water or in a damp place.
• Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures.

Recharging Batteries

You should fully recharge the battery pack before using
your microTALK

®

for the first time.

1. Attach the power supply
to the charger base and plug
it in to an electrical outlet.
(A UK-compatible connector
is included, if required.)
Place the radio in the charger
base to begin charging.
2. With the optional
adapter, you can place the
battery pack alone in the charger base. Pull down the
LOCK TAB and remove the battery compartment cover.
Remove the battery pack
and place the battery pack
in the charging well.
3. The CHARGE light on the
charger base will indicate
when the battery is fully
charged. The light will remain
lit until the battery pack is approximately 90% charged,
then blink rapidly until the battery is fully charged, then
blink slowly indicating trickle charge. A full charge will take
approximately 2 hours. You can leave the unit in trickle
charge indefinitely.
4. Your microTALK

®

can also be operated with four

standard AAA alkaline batteries.
