Hot-Plug Hard Drive

NOTE: The server does not need to be powered off to complete this operation.

To remove a hot-plug hard drive:

1. Open the bezel door. Refer to “Bezel Door” earlier in this chapter.

2. Slide the hard drive release latch (1) to open the ejector lever (2).

3. Pull the hot-plug hard drive out of the drive bay.

To replace a hot-plug hard drive, push the drive back into the bay and then close the ejector
lever to fully seat the drive.
