Sound Page

The Sound Page is the heart and soul of Twist. This page contains several controls that adjust
Twist's filter, envelopes, tuning, and other harmonic layer controls. This is where most of the
textural sound design process will happen.

The combination of the two Layers lets you create endless combinations of unheard-of sounds
for your project. And remember that any of these knobs is easily assignable to any hardware
MIDI controller (see the MIDI Learn section for more information).

Layer Controls

Twist uses two different layers of spectral harmonic control. Each of the two Layers is controlled
by three knobs and an on/off switch.

The inner knob for each Layer is a Harmonic Width control, which determines harmonic
frequency related to the fundamental pitch. Moving the knob from left to right will push the
harmonics' frequency from low to high in the harmonic spectrum.

The outer knob for each Layer is a Harmonic Balance control, which determines the
quality and amount of energy in the harmonic spectrum. Moving the knob closer to the +
sign will extract even harmonic content, and moving the knob closer to the sign will
extract odd harmonic content.
