LFO Controls

The low-frequency oscillator (LFO) is a fundamental tool sound designers use to create their
sounds. Twist's LFO lets you control its rate, depth, and resolution or frequency.

LFO Shape

These LEDs indicate what kind of waveform is used in the LFO. The available
types are (from top to bottom) saw-tooth, square, triangle, and sine.

LFO Depth

This knob controls how much LFO affects the signal's filter frequency. When this
knob is set to 0, the LFO is off. When it is set to 100, the LFO will modulate the
filter between its lowest and highest settings.

LFO Rate

On the left side of the Filter Frequency knob are a switch and knob that control the rate of the
LFO.

When the Beat/Hz switch is set to Beat, the LFO's rate will be synced
to your host software's tempo. The Rate knob affects the rate by
examining your host software's tempo settings and adjusting the LFO
timing to match any value ranging from whole notes (1) to 32nd notes
(1/32) (a T indicates a triplet-based setting). This parameter is also
automatable, so you can change Twist's pulse in real time!

When the Beat/Hz switch is set to Hz, the Rate knob controls the rate.
