TURNING THE REMOTE TRAINER ON AND OFF
The Remote Trainer consists of a hand-held transmitter and
a radio receiver on the dog’s collar. The collar must be turned
on before it can receive signals from the transmitter.
To turn the Remote Trainer collar on, set the transmitter
intensity dial to the number 0 (zero). Hold the transmitter
close to the collar (any distance between 2 and 10 feet). Hold
down any transmitter button as you watch the light on the
front of the receiver. When the light begins double-blinking
red, the collar is turned on and capable of receiving signals
from the transmitter. This process takes about 5 seconds.
Note that it takes about 20 seconds after turn-on before the
collar can apply stimulation.

When the intensity dial
is on zero, pressing any
transmitter button turns
the collar on or off. Move
the dial to a number
other than zero for training.
When the collar light blinks
red, the collar is turned on.
