Unpacking
Check that you have received the following items with the VCR:
• Remote commander
75-ohm coaxial cable with F-type
connectors
Size AA (R6) batteries
Audio/ video cable (3-phono to 3-
phono)
If the plug supplied with your VCR does not
fit your power outlet, attach the supplied
adaptor to the plug.
Checking your model name
The instructions in this manual are for fhe 3 models: SLV-662HF, 679HF
and 679HF PX. Check your model number by looking at the rear panel of
your VCR. The SLV-662HF is fhe model used for illustration purposes.
Any difference in operation is clearly indicated in the text, for example,
"SLV-679HF only."
