Set the PROGRAM AE switch to the green position.
Hints for effective camera work
When shooting sports events from a distance, such as a football game, you would
typically zoom from the wide to the telephoto position to catch the one-time events. Even
under these circumstances, by using Sports mode, you can get a sharp picture when
played back later in the slow or still mode.
Notes
• Sports mode is effective under sufficient lighting, such as under sunlight.
When used under extremely dark conditions, the shutter speed may not be shifted to high
speeds.
• When recording under fluorescent, sodium, or mercury lamps, the brightness of the recorded
picture may vary, or the color of the recorded picture may become unnatural.
