Signing Up for the WebTV Plus Service
Signing up for the WebTV Plus service is as easy as filling out a short
application form right on your TV screen. After you complete the last
page, you can correct any mistakes. After you finish signing up, the TV
Home page appears and you are ready to begin.
^ These Operating Instructions give instructions for using the on-screen keyboard. You can
also use the Sony Internet Terminal Wireless Keyboard which is available at your Sony
dealer.
Signing Up

Press the TV POWER button to turn on your television. (See
"Programming the Remote Control" on page 19.)
^ If the Internet Terminal and your TV are connected through a VCR, you may need to
turn on the VCR and select the external input before signing up.

Press the WEB POWER button to connect to the WebTV Plus service.
After a few introductory pages, the sign-up page appears.
The first time you connect to the WebTV Plus service, your Internet Terminal takes a
minute or more to make the connection.
^ If you conneaed the Internet Terminal to your TV withan S-Video or A/V cable, press
the TVA/IDEO button to cycle through the TV's video inputs until the WebTV Plus
service appears on your screen.
^ If you connected the Internet Terminal to your TV using only a VHF/UHF (coaxial
cable) connection, select channel 3 or 4, whichever channd you set the GH3-CH4
switch to on the back panel of the Internet Terminal,
