Programming the Remote Control

The Internet Terminal's remote control is preset at the factory to operate
Sony brand TVs. If you have a TV made by another manufacturer that
you want to operate with the Internet Terminal's remote control, use the

following procedure to program the remote control to operate your TV.

Tour TV must have infrared (IR) remote control receiving capability in order to be used with

the Internet Terminal's remote control.

To program the Internet Terminal's remote control.

Find the code number for your TV from "Programmable Codes" on

page 20. If more than one code number is listed, use the number
listed first to complete the following procedure.

Press the CODE SET button.

Enter the code number.

Press the ENTER button within 10 seconds.

To Check if the Code Number Works:

Use the following procedure to make sure the code works.

□ Aim the Internet Terminal's remote control at the TV and press the

TV POWER button.

If the TV responds, try the CH+ and CH- buttons. If the TV responds,
you're done. If the code doesn't work:

□ Try programming the remote control using the other codes listed for

your TV.

□ If your TV does not respond to the Internet Terminal's remote

control—even after trying all the code numbers for your TV—call
1-888-772-7669.
