Notes

• Once check-out has started, do not disconnect the USB cable or power source until the check-out

operation completes. Doing so may damage the data or cause malfunction.

• Make sure not to bump the Net MD or disconnect the power cord after check-out has started, as

the contents of the recording will not be stored correctly.

• A song that has been checked out may not be editable on some MiniDisc components. Moreover,

a song that has been checked out and then edited cannot be checked-in.

• A song that has been checked out may not be editable or deletable on a Net MD itself. Moreover,

a song that has been checked out and then edited cannot be checked-in.

• The length of songs depend on the Playlist and the device to which the songs have been checked

out.

• Due to the limitations of the MD system, you may not be able to record the entire amount of

remaining recording time.

• Due to the limitations of the MD system, a total of about 1,700 characters is the maximum number

that can be entered for the disc name, group names and track names on the disc. Take note of this
limitation when checking out a large number of songs.

Once you have checked out a song three times, the software will indicate that there are no more
check-outs available for that song. In order to check that song out additional times, you must

import the song from the original MP3 file or record it from the CD as it was done previously (see
page 15).
