Figure 1 0 - 2 : Lug nut sequence of tightening

Tighten the lug nuts to the proper torque for tiie axle size on your iraiier, to prevent

wheels from coming loose. Use a torque wrench to tighten the fasteners If you do

not have a torque wrench, tighten the fasteners with a iug wrench as much as you

can^ then have a service garage or dealer tighten the lug nuts to the proper torque,

Over-tightenirig will result in breaking the studs or permanently defomiing the

mounting stud holes in the wheels. Do not exceed 120 ft,/lb

10.2.10 Suspension

All suspension components should be visually inspected at least every 6000
miles or 6 months, Check for loose fasteners and tighten to proper torque values.

Excesively worn or damaged parts should be replaced with original parts,
