DANGER

BLADE THRUST

When the spin­

ning blade contacts anything it does not cut, a dan­

gerous reaction can occur earning the entire tool and

operator to be thrust violently in any direction. This
reaction is called

Blade Thrust.

As a result, the op­

erator can lose control of the tool.

^WARNING - COASTING BLADE

The blade contmues to spin after the engine is
stopped or the throttle is released. The coasting
blade can thrust, throw objects, or seriously cut you
if accidentally touched. Stop blade by leaving it
in

with

already

cut.
