Attach power source.
When using a battery pack, make sure it is fuliy charged
(see p. 15).
Turn camera on.
OPERATE indicator lights up.

‘TAPE” fiashes in viewfinder (see p. 30). r-tigii
Press A (EJECT) button.
Video cassette compartment opens.
EJECT button works with the power turned off, if the battery
pack is attached.
Load video cassette and close video cassette
compartment.
Press “PUSH” mark on video cassette compartment until a
click sound is heard.
Use an 8mm video cassette marked with an Q (P5 type).
Camera goes into record pause mode.

Press ISPJ/LP button to select tape mode.
For best picture quality, seiect SP.
For doubie recording time, select LP.
Turn grip to desired position.
