Cause

Rnmorfy:"^

Cannot adjust focus.

Zooming lever is in macro

range.

Move zooming lever into normal

focusing range.

Viewfinder diopter not properly
adjusted.

Turn diopter adjustment ring

until viewfinder display becomes

clear.

Autofocus window is obscured.

Remove obstacle from

autofocus window.

Playback doesn’t start when
PLAY button is pressed.

Camera is in record pause

mode.

Press STOP button.

Camera is off.

Turn camera on.

Video cassette not loaded.

Load a video cassette.

Tape has ended (“T.END”

appears in viewfinder).

Rewind tape or use another

video cassette.

Tape is moving, but no picture

appears on TV monitor.

Video channel not set properly
on both TV and RF Unit.,

Set TV and RF Unit to

appropriate video channel.

TVA/IDEO selector on TV not

set to VIDEO.
