14.1 Safety information
Attention
Please observe the safety instructions, before cleaning your device
► Unplug the can opener when not in use and before any cleaning.
► Never immerse the can opener, cord or plug in water or other liquids
and do not place in the dishwasher.
14.2 Cleaning
To clean motor housing, wipe clean using a damp cloth.
Wipe off drive wheel with a damp cloth.
Please note
► Do not place the multi opener or any parts of this unit in the dishwasher!
14.2.1 Removable multi opener lever

lever can be removed from the unit.

Removing the lever
To detach the lever from the unit, bring it carefully into the 45° position.
Hold the can opener with one hand while gently pulling the can opener
lever away from the front of the unit with the other.
Cleaning of the lever
Clean the lever regularly and thoroughly in warm, soapy water. Rinse and
dry thoroughly.
Attaching the lever
To re-attach the can opener lever back on the unit, hold it in the 45°
position, insert drive shaft into the key hole near the drive wheel and push
the lever in all the way.
Rotate the can opener lever clockwise until it is horizontal.
Please note
► If lever is properly engaged, it cannot be removed in horizontal position.
► Cutting mechanism may collect food or paper from can labels and
should be washed fequently.
