CE DRUM GUARDS—ABOVE GROUND

The CE drum guards provide extra protection from the dyno’s drum by regulating the
distance between the drum and the dyno’s chassis. The placement of the drum guards
can be manually adjusted. The following instructions are for installing the CE drum
guards on a 224 above ground dyno. If you have a pit dyno refer to “CE Drum
Guards—Pit” on page 7.

Before installing the CE drum guards, the above ground covers need to be removed.

Never operate the dynamometer with the covers removed.

Remove the twelve 3/8-16 x 1” button-head allen bolts securing the dyno covers to
the dyno and set aside.

Remove the above ground covers and set aside.
Note: For clarity, the 224 deck is not shown.
