Careful installation will also ensure long-term reliabil-

holes. Clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap.

All commercial CO sensors have a finite life. The
life expectancy of these models is 5 to 7 years. They
must be replaced periodically to ensure reliable
operation in detecting conditions that are potentially
hazardous to human health and safety.
