SATA Drive Physical Installation Procedure

Please follow these steps to install the SATA HDD into the drive carrier:
1. Insert each of the Serial ATA (SATA) HDD into a drive carrier (refer to step 1).
Make sure that you don't mount the drive upside-down or backwards.
2. Gently push the SATA-HDD into the drive carrier until the drive connects to
the connector on the rear of the drive carrier (refer to step 2 and step 2a).
3. Secure the SATA HDD in place by using the screws that came with it. Do not
over-tighten screws when installing the hard disk.
Please observe, that only the supplied inch screws may be
used for the securing of the SATA drive to the drive carrier.
Using long screws can penetrate deep inside the mechanism
of the SATA drive and damage it.
Two screws on each side are sufficient to secure the SATA
HDD into the drive carrier of the KISS-Stor 1.
