Create the Array with one Drive with Data (as Source) and one new Drive
(Target)

The new disk drive (target) must have the same capacity or
larger, than the drive with data (source).

1.

Lock the drive with data (source) and leave the new drive (target) unlocked.
This identifies the drive with data as the source drive.

When you lock the drives, the first drive to get locked is
designated as the source drive and the other drive becomes the
target drive.

2.

Attach the computer to a corresponding power source.

3.

Power-up the system.

4.

Lock the new drive (target). This identifies the new drive as the target drive.

5.

The system will immediately begin mirroring the data from the source drive to

the target drive (will duplicate the data onto the new drive).

Any old data on

the target drive will be lost, and is overwritten with the mirror image of

the source drive.

If system power is turned off midway through the mirroring
process, the process will continue from the point of interruption
when power returns.
