9. Carefully insert the scope head and into the focus
stand arm. Firmly push into place and tighten the
thumbscrew to secure the colposcope head.
10. Firmly place the green filter assembly on the front of
the colposcope head. Verify the lens is on the top of
the assembly and facing toward the patient area.
Tighten the set screws on each side of the green
filter assembly.
11. Plug the fiber optic cable into the Green Filter
assembly (if not already asembled). Tighten the set
screw to lock in place. Do not overtighten.
12. Remove the protective caps from the colposcope
head and replace with the provided oculars. Add the
provided eye cups to the oculars.
13. Plug the power cord into the bottom of the light
source. If desired, secure the light source power
cable to clamp provided on base leg.
CAUTION: Grounding reliability is only achieved
when equipment is connected to an
equivalent receptacle marked “Hospital
Only” or “Hospital Grade”.
14. Plug the Overhead Colposcope Zoom unit into a
hospital grade outlet.
