Operation

Checks the used capacity and the remaining recordable capacity
on the NVS2825 hard drive.

Built-in test utility for detecting physical errors on the internal
hard drive. This function does not fix errors.
If an error is detected during the self-test, consult your
authorized NEXTODI dealer.

If the copy function fails, a TMP folder will be generated. A user
can delete the TMP folder using this menu.

On/Off setting for buzzer sound. Factory setting is On.

Change the language setting

Upgrade to new firmware from the firmware file stored in the
internal hard drive or on a memory card.

The NVS2825 cuts off power automatically to save internal
battery power. User can select the latency time interval
(seconds before unit will automatically power off) from 15/30/
40/50/60/90 seconds.

The name of the folder is determined by the shooting date
(e.g., 20121010.000). At the “Set Up” menu, the user can select
the “Folder Rename” menu as ON, and then can change the
folder name to begin with C1~C9 (i.e., C1121010.000) which
refers to Camera 1~Camera 9, instead of using a date-based
folder name. Factory setting is Off

Exposing the NVS2825 to any vibration during use--including
jarring, bumping, or dropping--could damage the sectors on the
internal HDD. If shaking is detected, the NVS2825 warns the
user via an LCD indicator and a beeping sound. The NVS2825
contains a free-fall sensor which will attempt to protect the
internal data by cutting off the power should the unit be
dropped. The sensitivity of the motion sensor can be set to
Off/Lo/Hi. The factory default setting is “Hi.” (The motion
sensor is only included in HDD models—not in the SSD models.)
