Anti-Theft System
This unit is equipped with a removable face plate. By removing this face plate, the radio becomes totally inop
erable. The security indicator will blink.
To Remove the Removable Face Plate
® Switch off the power.
(2) Press the release button (.^). The removable face plate will be released.

d) Remove the removable face plate by pulling on the right side of the unit. Place the removable face plate in a
supplied case.

Security Indicator
Switching Security Indicator:
When the removable face plate is removed from the unit, the security indicator will blink. With the car
turned on, press and hold SEL for more than 2 seconds repeatedly to change the display {appearing for 2
seconds) as follows, thus switching the security indicator to on/off.
