Select the method of conversion for progressive output to suit the type

of material being played (• page 21, "Film and video", Glossary).

Auto 1 (normal): for film material
Auto 2: for film material (the same as Auto 1, but able to convert 30-

frame per second progressive video.)

Video: for video material

Change the picture's position if it is off center.

1. Highlight the position icon.

2. Press [1].
3. Press [1] (left) or [3] (tight) to move the picture.
4. Press [4] to enter the position (saved even if you turn the unit off).
To return to the factory-set position: Press [2] in step 3.

© Contrast (-7 to -1-7)

Increases the contrast between light and dark parts of the picture.

© Brightness (0 to -t-15)

Brightens the picture.

© Color (-7 to-t-7)

Adjust the shade of the picture's color.

•4:3 TV ZOOM is cleared when you change discs or switch the unit to

standby.

this feature may not work as described.

• Menus may act or appear differently while 4:3 TV ZOOM is on.
