The kind of professional sounding ac­
companiment you heard with the dem­
onstration song can played very easily
using the AUTO ACCOMPANIMENT
features. Two basic types are available:
A) The Single Finger Chord function lets
you play complete chords with just
one finger. The chords are only
heard while keys are pressed.
B) If you add a rhythm, the PortaSound
will then play a truly Automatic Ac­
companiment consisting of drums,
bass and instrumental chords. These
parts match each other perfectly and
continue even if you lift your fingers
off the keyboard.
These features are controlled by the
AUTO ACCOMPANIMENT SECTION
0 of the keyboard, which has a dif­
ferent sound than the rest of the key­
board to the right (the melody section)
when AUTO ACCOMPANIMENT is
turned on.

macht es Ihnen leicht, eine professionell
klingende Begleitung zu spielen, wie Sie

haben. Das PSS-140 verfügt über zwei
grundlegende Arten von automatischen
Begleitfunktionen:
A) Mit Einfinger-Akkorden können Sie
durch Anschlägen einer einzigen Ta­
ste ganze Akkorde spielen. Diese
Akkorde erklingen nur, wenn Sie die
entsprechenden Tasten drücken.
B) Wenn Sie auch noch einen Rhythmus
hinzufügen, spielt das PortaSound
dann zusätzlich Schlagzeug, Baß und
instrumentale Akkorde, die alle per­
fekt aufeinander abgestimmt sind.
Und auch dann wiedergegeben wer­
den, wenn Sie Keine Taste drücken.
Beide automatischen Begleitfunktionen
werden durch den Tastenbereich für
Automatische Begleitung 0 (AUTO
ACCOMPANIMENT SECTION) ge­
steuert. Dieser Abschnitt der Tastatur
hat einen anderen Klang als der übrige
Bereich rechts davon
(Melodie-Abschnitt), wenn die auto­
matischen Begleitfunktionen einge­
schaltet sind.

B) Si vous y ajoutez un rythme, votre
PortaSound jouera un accompa­
gnement de percussion, de basse
et instrumental, appelé accompa­
gnement automatique. Ces diffé­
rentes parties se correspondent
parfaitement et sont jouées auto­
matiquement même après que vous
ayez relâché les touches.
Ces fonctions dépendent de la section
ACCOMPAGNEMENT AUTOMATIQUE
0 du clavier. Quand l’ACCOMPAGNE-
MENT AUTOMATIQUE est enclenché,
cette section a un son différent de la
section mélodique, située à droite.

Existen dos tipos básicos de
autoacompañamiento en el PSS- 140:
A) La función de Acorde de una Sola
Tecla le permite interpretar acordes
completos con un solo dedo. Los
acordes se interpretan sólo cuando
toca las teclas.
B) Si le añade un ritmo, el PortaSound
interpretará también percusión y
acordes de bajo e instrumentales que
concuerden perfectamente entre sí
para Acordes Automáticos. Estas
partes se corresponden perfectamente
y la interpretación no para cuando
se suelten las teclas.
Estas características están controladas
por la sección de
AUTOACOMPAÑAMIENTO
0
(AUTO ACCOMPANIMENT) del te­
clado, que tiene un sonido distinto del
resto del teclado a la derecha (sección
melódica) al activar AUTO
ACCOMPANIMENT.
