Place a document face down on the ADF.
Adjust left and right Document Guides.

Use the keypad to "dial’* a number.

Your machine will dial the number. If the line is
free, your documents will be sent.
If the other station has an ID, it will appear on
the display.
When transmission ends, the display shows the
number of pages sent.
If the line is busy, your machine will redial the
number for you up to twice with three minute in
tervals.
