Place a document face down on tfie ADF.
Adjust left and right Document Guides.
Lift the handset.

Use the keypad to dial a number.

If you require a special access number to get an
outside lino, dial it first and then press I PAUSEI
to enter a pause (represented by a **-”) before
dialing the full number.

When you hear a beep sound,

Replace the handset.
If the other station has an ID, it will appear on
the display.
When transmission ends, the display shows the
number of pages sent.
If the line is busy, replace the handset.
Then try again several minutes later by press
