START SCANNING
(1) Press SCAN (TRI) quickly.
• “SCAN" is displayed.
(2) The unit will start scanning up from the
displayed channel.
(3) Scanning stops at a channel on which
the unit receives a signal.
(4) The channel number displayed will flash
until the signal disappears.
(5) The voice on the channel can be heard.
(6) Press SCAN (TRI) to stop searching.

START TIME-SCANNING
(1) Press SCAN (TRI) and hold for 1
second.
• “T-SCAN” Is displayed.
(2) Scanning pauses at a channel (on which
a signal exits) for a few seconds.
(3) The channel number flashes for that
period.
(4) The unit wilt continue scanning up.
(5) Press SCAN (TRI) to stop searching.
