About the body movement indicator function

If your arm (to which the pressure cuff Is attached), etc. moves during measurement

(such as If you unconsciously bend your elbow). It may not be possible to take
measurements correctly.

• The body movement Indicator function uses the body movement Indicator lamp and

a warning sound to tell you when movement has occurred or when excessive
pressure has been applied to the pressure cuff during measurement.

• If the body movement Indicator lamp blinks, return your arm to the correct posture.

(See p. 13.)

• When body movement has been detected, the body movement Indicator lamp will

blink when the blood pressure reading appears. (The lamp will also blink when
measurements for which movement was detected are stored and later recalled.)
