5. AIR FILTER

The unit has an air inlet filter (1b.) which should be checked regularly
and replaced when dirty or when its colour changes to ensure efficient
compressor performance. Do not wash or re-use the old filter. Using
the unit with a dirty filter may prevent it from working properly and
result in damage that is not covered by the warranty.
For spare filters contact your dealer or an authorised service centre.

To replace the filter:
• Gently pry open the cover by inserting the tip of a screwdriver in

the side slot, as shown in figure M.

• Replace the filter and gently snap the cover back in place.

• Ensure the unit has been plugged in properly. Check the electric outlet

by plugging another device into it.

• Check for faults in the cord or plug. Should you detect a fault, do not

use the unit.

• Ensure that the battery has been fitted correctly
• Check that the battery charging procedure has been carried out correctly.
• Check that the medication is at room temperature and not too cold
• Check that the fill volume used between 3 and 6 ml.
• Check that the medication is diluted sufficiently with saline solution

0.9%.

• Check that the nebuliser contains medication.
• Check that the centre jet (6b.) is in place and fitted correctly
• Switch pump on and off to ensure air is flowing from the air outlet port

(1c.)

• Check the connections between the air outlet port and the jet nebuliser

bowl.

• Failure to clean the jet nebuliser bowl from medication will form deposits

that may impair the performance of the unit. Check that the hole in the
centre jet (6b.) is not blocked with dry medication. Soak the jet nebuliser
bowl in water and try again. Do not tamper with the hole, as this will
alter the particle size of your medication.

• Carefully follow the instructions for cleaning and disinfection.
• In case of a blown fuse, replace with a 3A - 250V fast-blow fuse having

dimensions Ø 6.3 x 30 mm. To replace fuse unscrew the end of the
plug that is fitted into car lighter socket.

If the unit still does not nebulise once the above conditions have been checked, please contact your dealer
or an authorised service centre.
