General Information
The BYK-Gardner Mechanical Drive enables the
user to produce drawdowns of a uniform
thickness. This is accomplished by moving an
applicator with a fi xed load upon it, at a constant
speed across the surface. The resultant coating
is smooth and consistent, allowing for accura-
te measurement of such properties as abrasion
resistance, adhesion, fl exibility, gloss and hiding
power.
