Using the delay wash cycle

Use 4 Hour Delay Start to run the dish­

washer during off-peak hours to reduce

energy usage or to reduce daytime heat
buildup in your home.

1. Close door firmly until it latches.

Press 4 Hour Delay Start. The indicator

will glow red.

Press a Cycle button. The Delay Start

countdown begins when you
press the Cycle button. If you
don’t press a Cycle button
within 30 seconds, the Delay
Start indicator turns off.

If desired, press one or more Option

buttons. The 4 Hour Delay
Start indicator stays on until
the wash cycle begins.

NOTES:

• Press 4 Hour Delay Start anytime during

the delay period to start
dishwasher immediately.

• Press Cancel/Drain to cancel the delay

■■■■ cycle. The 4 Hour Delay Start

indicator will turn off. Press new
Cycle and Option buttons.

• You can add items to the load anytime

during the delay countdown. After adding

items, close the door firmly until it latches.

The delay countdown will not continue if
the door is not latched.
