The PowerMate
has built-in
protection against
motor and belt
damage should

down or stops, the
overload protector
shuts off the

the red light wili
come on. The
canister motor wili continue to run.
To correct problem: Turn off and unplug
vacuum cleaner, remove obstruction, then
press BELT RESET button.
If the problem persists, have the
vacuum cleaner serviced by a Sears or
other qualihed service agent.
