NOTE: The sensor in your dishwasher monitors the soii ievei.
Cycie time and/or water usage can vary from the numbers above
as the sensor adjusts the cycie for the best wash performance.

1. Press CANCEL/DRAiN. The Cancei/Drain iight giows.

2. The dishwasher starts a 2-minute drain (if needed). Let the

dishwasher drain compieteiy. The iight turns off after
2 minutes. The door must be ciosed for the dishwasher to
drain.

To stop the drain

You can press CANCEL/DRAiN again to stop the drain. Be sure
to drain the dishwasher before starting a new cycie.

To clear the indicators

Press CANCEL/DRAiN before starting the dishwasher to ciear aii
options and cycies.

Cliarifling a Cyi:

During the first minute of a cycle

1. Seiect a new cycie and/or options.

2. Check the detergent dispensers. They must be fiiied properiy

for the new cycie.

3. The Start/Resume iight wiii fiash when the door is opened.

Make sure the door is ciosed.

4. Press START/RESUME.

After the first minute of a cycle

Press CANCEL/DRAiN. The Cancei/Drain iight giows. Your
dishwasher starts a 2-minute drain (if needed). Let the
dishwasher drain compieteiy.
Check the detergent dispensers. They must be fiiied properiy

for the new cycie.

Make sure the door is ciosed. The Start/Resume iight wiii

fiash.
Seiect a new cycie and/or options.

Press START/RESUME.

You can add an item anytime before the main wash starts. Open
the door and check the detergent dispenser, if the cover is stiii
ciosed, you can add items.

You can customize your cycies by pressing an option, if you
change your mind, press the option again to turn off the option,
or seiect a different option if desired.
You can change an option anytime before the seiected option

begins. For exampie, you can press an unheated drying option
anytime before drying begins.
Press START/RESUME to use the same cycie and option(s) as

the previous wash cycie.

NOTE: if the iast cycie you compieted was a rinse cycie, when

you press START/RESUME, the dishwasher runs the iast fuii
wash cycie and options.

High Temp

Seiect this option to increase the water temperature during the
wash portions of the cycie. High Temp raises the water
temperature to 145°F (63°C), in the main wash. Heating the water
heips improve washing resuits. High Temp is usefui when ioads
contain tough food soii.

This option may add heat and wash time to the cycie.

NOTE: High Temp is an option with the SMARTWASH'^'^, Pots
Pans and Normai Wash cycies.

Sani Rinse (on some models)

Seiect this option to raise the water temperature in the finai rinse
to approximateiy 155°F (68°C). Sani Rinse adds heat and time to
the cycie. This high temperature rinse sanitizes your dishes and
giassware in accordance with NSF/ANSi Standard 184 for
Residentiai Dishwashers. Certified residentiai dishwashers are
not intended for iicensed food estabiishments.

NOTE: Sani Rinse is an option with SMARTWASH'^'^, Pots Pans,
and Normai Wash cycies. Oniy these sanitization cycies have
been designed to meet the NSF/ANSi requirements.

Heated Dry

The Heated Dry option in combination with rinse aid wiii give you

exceiient drying resuits. The energy to use Heated Dry costs
pennies per cycie. Heated Dry is on when the iight is lit on the
Heated Dry button. Be sure to load plastic items in the upper rack
to avoid damage.

You may turn off the Heated Dry option by pressing HEATED DRY
so that the light goes off. However, you will have items in your
dish load that will not be dry at the end of the cycle.

NOTE: The Heated Dry option is used in all cycles except Quick
Rinse.

To add items

1. Open the door slightly to stop the cycle. Wait for the spraying

action to stop before opening the door. The Start/Resume
light will flash.

2. Open the door. If the detergent dispenser cover is still closed,

add the item.

3. Close the door firmly until it latches. The Start/Resume light

will flash.

4. Press START/RESUME.

IMPORTANT: If Lock On is selected, turn off the lock (see Lock
On section in “Option Selections”), or the Start/Resume light will
continue to flash.
