lV-3. RECEIVING A FAX

3. RECEIVING A FAX

Fax reception can be either manual or automatic. You will probably

want to receive faxes automatically, as this is the more
straightforward method. However, if you are using a single
telephone line for both telephone and fax reception you will have
several options. You can either use the unit in manual reception and
monitor all in-coming calls, or you can use the FAX/TEL switch
and let the machine decide if the call is a fax message or not.
