Voice Operation

Searching for a Track, Radio/TV Station

If you desire to check the contents of the name you recorded for the track (station) you are
currently listening to, or you have forgotten the name you recorded for a track (station) you
desire to listen to, the search function is convenient.

■ Checking the name recorded for a track (station)

• Set the Name Check Mode.

If either the + or - button is pressed, the name you have recorded for the track (station)
you are currently listening to is output from the speaker. If you don’t perform any other
operation while the name is being output, this mode cancels automatically after 8 seconds.

■ Searching manually

1. Set the Search Mode.

If you repeatedly press the + or - button, the next or previous names you recorded are
output from the speaker in the order recorded.

2. When the desired track (station) has been located, press the CALL/MEMO

button within 8 seconds.

The player then switches to the track (station) corresponding to the recorded name that was

output last and begins playing it.
