Connecting the Units

e Sub-woofer phase/stereo-monaural switch

Allows switching of the phase of the sub-woofer speaker and
stereo-monaural switching of the sub-woofer output. Choose
stereo-monaural, before phase switching.

Stereo-monaural switching

Switch to STEREO for stereo output and to MONO for monaural
output. MONO provides the same sound to "L" and "R" sub­
woofer terminals. Choose output suitable to your amplifier and
sub-woofer speaker.

Phase switching

Usually this switch is left in the NOR (normal) position. Set to the
REV (reverse phase) position to switch the phase to accommodate

for speaker position and music type.

Sub-woofer level control

Allows adjustment of the output level of the sub-woofer speaker.

Use this control to adjust the low range of the output.

Before making final connections, make temporary connections

then operate the unit to check for any connecting cord prob­

lems.
Refer to the owner's manual for details on connecting the unit

to the RCA pin jacks of a car stereo or to a power amplifier, then

make connections correctly.

This unit can only be connected to a car stereo with RCA pin
jacks.
